Adventus Realty Trust (“Adventus” or the “Trust”) is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of Adventus Realty Services Inc., trustee of the Trust, has approved a distribution reinvestment plan (the “DRIP”). The DRIP will allow unitholders of the Trust (“Unitholders”) to direct cash distributions to be reinvested in additional units of the Trust (“Units”) that will be issued at 95% of the Average Market Price (as defined in the DRIP) of the Units.
Participation in the DRIP is optional and will not affect Unitholders’ cash distributions unless they elect to participate in the DRIP.
To participate in the DRIP, registered Unitholders must deliver a properly completed authorization form to TSX Trust Company (the “Plan Agent”) before 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on the 5th business day immediately preceding a distribution record date. Beneficial Unitholders (i.e. owners of Units that are held through a nominee) who wish to participate in the DRIP should contact the broker, investment dealer, financial institution or other nominee who holds their Units to inquire about the applicable enrollment deadline and to request enrollment in the DRIP.
Additional details on how to participate in the DRIP will be available on the Adventus website www.adventusrealty.com and Equity Transfer’s website www.tsxtrust.com. The DRIP and the enrollment form are included in this mailing and will also be available on the Adventus website and the Plan Agent’s website or by emailing the Plan Agent at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Unitholders should carefully read the complete text of the DRIP before making any decisions regarding their participation in the DRIP. Unless otherwise announced by Adventus, only Unitholders who are resident in Canada may participate in the DRIP. Participation in the DRIP will not relieve Unitholders of any liability for taxes that may be payable on distributions. Unitholders should consult their own tax advisors concerning the tax implementations of their participation in the DRIP having regard to their own particular circumstances.
